OUR MISSION
The founders of ClayValet want to simplify online shopping and give every person instant access to a personal shopper. We understand that shopping online is often time-consuming and frustrating, thus we offer a more personal alternative to search engine-based shopping sites. We strive to efficiently produce the most relevant and useful solutions, and we are dedicated to improving our service for all users.

ABOUT US
We design and implement online shopping experiences. At SaneShopping, our flagship service, real people research your shopping inquiries. Our shoppers scour the Internet to find the best products at the best prices, and you receive a free personalized report with detailed recommendations, summarized product reviews, and price comparisons with 24 hours of submitting your request. We shop for you, so that you can spend your valuable time elsewhere.

MEET THE TEAM
Mikhail Seregine, CEO/mikhail@clayvalet.com

Mikhail grew up in Moscow, Russia and West Des Moines, Iowa. After earning his BS in Computer Science at Stanford University, he moved to Seattle where he worked on website performance and web services at Amazon.com. He left Amazon in 2006 to travel and work on independent projects. In January 2007, he started developing an advice service to simplify online shopping under the name “ClayValet”.

Ken Harris, Programmer/ken@clayvalet.com
Ken.jpg
Ken is a programmer at ClayValet. Previously, he worked on various software projects such as helping researchers measure tree rings and helping engineers design airliners. The common thread to his work: helping people have fun and get things done with computers. Ken is currently using Ruby, although he has experience with many languages–some so awesome they make Ruby look humble by comparison and others so pathetic he won’t admit to knowing them. Ken has a B.A. from Cornell University.

Jason Kroll, Programmer/jason@clayvalet.com
Jason.jpg
Jason programs for ClayValet in Ruby on Rails. As a old-time Asm/C/C++ coder and Linux enthusiast who was coaxed into the world of high-level languages through LISP, he remains astounded by recent languages, systems, and hardware. A former technical editor of Linux Journal, he took a number of odd jobs while in and out of school, before wandering into the ClayValet fold by showing up at a party. A graduate of the University of Washington and Tufts University, he lives within blocks of ClayValet World HQ on Capitol Hill in Seattle, WA.

Darcy Camden, Marketing/darcy@clayvalet.com
